We ship only to New York State Correctional Facilities. Policies vary per facility, so we recommend consulting the recipient regarding their facility's regulations. Some items allowed at one facility may be restricted at another.
Flat-Rate Shipping Costs:
Standard Shipping: $14.99 (regardless of weight)
Quick Ship: $19.99 (for eligible items, up to 20 lbs, shipped within 24-48 hours)
Mixed Quick Ship & Non-Quick Ship Orders: $29.98
Incarcerated Individual Mail Orders: $9.99
Orders are processed Monday-Friday. If an order is placed over the weekend, processing begins the next business day. Perishable items (meats & vegetables) are ordered fresh and shipped immediately, which may take 2-5 business days depending on availability. If an item is unavailable at the time of shipping, a Merchandise Food Credit will be issued, and details will be included in the invoice.
Perishable Items & Transit
Orders typically remain in transit for 1-2 business days. While delays with UPS or FedEx are rare, we package all perishable orders to remain fresh for up to 3-5 days. GudEatz will not reissue or refund merchandise that has perished, been lost, stolen, or damaged after being received by the facility. The recipient must follow facility procedures to file a claim.
For facilities requiring two-day transit or those that do not issue packages on Fridays, orders will be held and shipped the following Monday to maintain freshness. Orders to Wende, Attica, Albion, Great Meadow, Orleans, Wyoming, Groveland, and Collins arrive within two business days and ship between Monday and Wednesday after processing.
We do not offer overnight shipping, as we cannot guarantee timely arrival or facility issuance.
Order Cancellations & Restocking Fees
If a customer cancels an order after processing, a mandatory 50% restocking fee applies. This fee is non-negotiable and does not include refunds on taxes and shipping costs, which will be fully refunded. During peak seasons, delays may occur, and orders are shipped based on volume and availability.
